Caught lots of small fish but I think the fishing should turn on next week. Usually the last week of April is when it starts but we are a little late this year with the crazy weather.

Fished a group of 4 in the river today, small fish were good and a few big fish caught by other boats, then we hooked into this fish. 26 LBS 37" long with a 25" girth.

Fishing was great today, we are on a very good big fish bite right now. We caught limits of fish today and released a few 8-10 LB fish and also released this big 23 LB striper.

Fishing was really tough on the lake the last few days so we went to the river this afternoon and it was on.

Finally hit a really good trip. Fished a group of 2 and we caught about 40 good fish on Berkley power mullets. The fish were schooled up and feeding good.

Same deal this morning, about 40 small fish. Afternoon was different, the small fish in the deep water would not bite for us so we moved into some shallow water and caught a few good size fish up to 10 LBS. We released the 10 LB fish.

Fished a group of 4 this morning and did much better, caught about 40 fish but most were dinks with a few good box fish mixed in. Fished a group of 3 in the afternoon with about the same results.

Fished a group of 3 in the morning and it was tough for us, we ended up catching a few fish but not near what we needed.

Fished a group of 6 on the lake this afternoon. The fishing was pretty good and we ended up catching about 40 fish, some were a little small but you take what you can get this early in the spring.

Two big snow storms this week have delayed us from getting started with the striper fishing but we should start for sure on the 15th.

Fished the river for striper this morning for about 3 hours and did not even get a bite. They generated 10 hours yesterday and millions of shad are coming thru the generators when they generate right now , but when it warms up a little it will get good again.

Fished down river today, tried to talk the group out of fishing down there because of high winds and high water but they wanted to see that part of the river. Caught one catfish about 15 LBS.

Good day on the river but the 55 mile per hour winds made it a little tough. Caught 2 at 38 LBS a 32 and 4 more in the 20-30 LB range.

Fished the river for catfish today. Caught about 15-20 fish with 5 fish over 20 LBS. 21,28,38,40 and 44 LB blue cats.

Non stop striper action again this morning on the river for about 2 hours. Lots of 4-6 LB fish and 5 big fish from 14-19 LBS. Released the big fish. Also caught a 30 LB blue cat.

Fished the river for striper today and it was non stop action with mostly 4-6 LB fish, a few 6-10 LB and 4 fish over 10LBS to about 15 LBS. Released the bigger fish to catch again.

Fished the river for catfish today and caught about 20 fish with 4 big fish, 30,30,32,and 45 LB.

Fished the river today for striper and it was really good, we caught them fast up to about 10 LBS when the water was on.

Fished the river today and it was slow,5 cats up to 28 LBS.

We did not do as good as I thought we would today but we did catch about 15 cats up to 20 LBS.

Started out slow on the river but we finally got some action. We lost the first big fish that we hooked but then we caught a 35 LB blue ,then a few small fish, then a 30 and a 48 lb blue to finish the day. We are going to fish some spots tomorrow that I really think will be good.

Fishing a group of 4 for 3 days so we decided to fish the river for striper one of the 3 days. It was a little slow but we caught and lost a few nice fish. Ended up catching about 15 striper with two 15lb and one 10 lb. The fish are very fat and I look forward to some great striper fishing on the river this spring.

Fishing on the river was a little tougher today but we finally ended up catching a few big ones. 43,25,21,20 and a few from 5-17 LBS.

Started off the year with a sinus infection but finally felt good enough to fish today. We had a great day on the river and caught about 25 cats total. Biggest was 53 then 42,37,35,30,28,23, and 21 LBS.
