Fished a group of 3 in the river this afternoon in the cold wind. Caught 5 fish and missed a few more big fish. Biggest was 22 LBS, then 20, 16, 15, and one small fish. Right now is the time for big pre-spawn river striper.

Fished the lake this morning and the bite was pretty steady early then about 9:30 they just quit. Should get much better in about 3 more weeks.

Fishing has been up and down on the lake last week and will probably remain the same for a few more weeks before it really turns on. The river is slow but producing some big fish up to 18 LBS last week.

I am on some big striper now and we will catch the biggest fish of the year from now till the end of April. Great time for 10+ LB fish and we will probably catch some 20+.

I did some scouting this afternoon on the lake and did really well, I am going looking this afternoon and tomorrow morning then I will fish a double Wednesday and Thursday.  Friday morning and afternoon, Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning and afternoon are open this week.

Fished a different section of river today, the boat launch is less then desirable but we made it work. caught a good box of small fish and released 4 in the mid 20's,one 33, and , one 36 LB.

Caught a lot of catfish today but only one big fish that weighed 41 LBS.

Catfish trip on the river again today. Started out catching 3 in the mid to upper 20's then got a double with a 30 and 32 LB, next fish was a 46 LB then we missed another big one just a few minutes later, after that we caught a few small fish and one 11 LB striper.

Storms delayed us for a while this morning but we finally got on the water about 10 AM. Not many bites today but we caught some really big cats. Biggest was 60, then 52, and 25 LB blue cats. We also caught a 40 LB flathead and a few smaller fish. The water was warm form the 80 degree temp yesterday, that is probably what made the big flathead bite.

Striper fishing on the river this afternoon was a little slow. We just wanted big fish and only caught one that weighed 15 LBS. Probably caught a limit of smaller fish but did not keep any.

Great day on the river for catfish, caught right at 30 fish with 9 over 20 LBS up to 55 LBS and lost 2 more big fish.

Fished the river for big striper today. Started off slow but we caught them pretty good for a while, lots of 4-7 LB fish and 3 over 10 LBS up to 14 LBS.

Fished the river for big catfish but caught mostly 5-15 LB fish and on in the 20 LB range. Check out this rock or fossil, wierd dark ring around it and there were a lot of sea shells imbedded in the rock.

We have been fishing almost every day and catching big fish every day. I have just a few days left open for big catfish or striper in the next two weeks then I will not be guiding much till March. Here are some pics of some big fish we have caught in the last two weeks.
