The catfish bit pretty good today but no giant fish. We caught a 25 and a 27 lb cat ,we also caught some smaller fish that were 3 to 17LBS.

Slow fishing on the river today, very few bites. Only one big cat that was 27 LBS.

We only caught 2 cats today on the river but they were both good ones. The first fish bottomed out my 50 LB scales with ease so I don't know exactly what it weighed but it was 51 inches long, my guess would be about 70 LB. Then we caught a 35 LB that looked small after looking at the first fish.

We fished Saturday and it was still slow .Our biggest cat was 25LBS. It was to cold and windy Sunday so we cancelled . Today ,Monday , Was really good we caught a good box of 3-14LB cats and caught and released a 21,30,and 35 LB cat. We also lost a unusual amount of big fish today, they just were not staying hooked up. I guess we cant complain but it would have been nice to land a few more of those big fish.

I was scouting some holes that I have not been to in a while today, but it was the same thing . I guess The fishing is just slow. Maybe we need some rain. I did catch a few cats today . Here is a pic of my biggest cat today . It weighed 44 LBS.

Fishing was tough on the river this weekend. The cats were just not very active for some reason. Saturday we caught a 17,20,and a 25LB Blue Cat. Sunday we caught a 45LB Blue and snagged a 20LB Paddlefish.

I was bored this afternoon so I went to the river about 3 o'clock. I caught 2 big cats 35 and 40 LBS and lost another big one. I have a lot of weekdays open so call me and book now because its all over at the end of Feb.

It was tough fishing on the river today. We missed some good fish. I guess the reason we lost so many fish the last couple of days is because they have been really finicky . We finally boated a 25 LB cat and we also found some Paddlefish and snagged one. We called it quits a little early today. If I get a calm sunny day this week I am going to go snag some more Paddlefish, they can really move fast when you snag one.

It was a crazy day on the river . We saw the shuttle crash but did not know what it was until later in the day. We started out by losing about a 30LB fish that rolled up on the surface about 20 Yards from the boat and came unhooked then we missed two more big cats before finally boating a 40 LB cat and a few small fish. We snagged a few gar before moving to another hole. After about 10:00 this morning the fish shut off and we did not catch another fish until 4:30 but it was a good one,60 LBS.

I spent most of the day looking for big shad for the weekend and I finally loaded up on them by the afternoon. The water conditions look good for this weekend so hopefully we will catch some big ones. I did manage to fish for about an hour and caught this 25 LB cat and another one that was 15LBS. I only have one weekend day left in Feb.(16th)so if anyone wants that day let me know quick.

We started out pretty good this morning then the cold north wind blew in and slowed the fishing way down. Here are our two largest cats of the day,20 and 25 LBS. We did a little snagging right before we quit fishing an caught a pretty good size gar. I think we might start doing some snagging for Gar and Paddle Fish.

Water conditions were just right but the air condition was cold. We caught a couple of nice fish and a few small ones to eat and called it quits early. We only fished one hole in the river and pulled this 45LB Blue and 40 LB Flathead on cut Shad. Both fish were released as are all big cats seen on my site.

Finally some relief from the high water today. We were able to fish some holes today that have been to swift to fish. Here is the results a 20,21,30,and 45 LB catfish and a few smaller fish to take home and eat.

I did not book a trip for today and that was a good thing since they ran water all day today. I ended up going fishing with Jim Gilbert who is helping me out on some search engine optimization on my website.

One word can describe the fishing today COLD. The sun taunted us all day when it would break through the clouds and warm us up for a minute or less then hide behind the clouds again. For some reason they never shut the water off today, probably because everyone was turning up the heater and using a lot of electricity. We caught one 30LB fish , lost another big one ,and picked up a few small fish. I sure hope they will stop releasing so much water soon.

What a day to be on the river. It was a cold gray snowy day but it was so scenic that the cold did not bother me at all. We have a lot of Bald Eagles here this year, I counted 5 in one tree today. We cut it short today because my customers said they wanted one big fish and they would call that a limit. So according to them we caught our limit and here is a pic of our limit. The Blue Cat weighed 50 LBS. I think they are going to be Generating less next week so the fishing should get really good.

Two big cats today on rod and reel from the river. One 40 and one 50 and we lost another 50 lb fish right at the boat. We also caught about 12 smaller cats under 10 Lbs.

Fishing was still slow today only one big cat today. This fish weighed 35 LBS.
